I don't understand why my frame rate did not export out as 24 and but as 12 frames per second.. anyway, this is my final and completed profile walk cycle.. the previous walk cycle gave me the confidence to even attempt this one.. Overall i like it, but i still wish it was at 24 frames per second and not 12.

Heigh-Ho - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Watch this vid at 2:00 minutes and on wards and you understand why my walk cycle looks like the way it does. It was the motion of the legs.

This is the version with the music.. You can now see why my walk cycle looks like the way it does.

This is my profile without the music.. I have to say, i do like it.
This was a profile test, which i was trying to move to a rhythm. At this stage, i am trying to create a believable walk cycle.. But a walk cycle that goes well to a beat that i have in mind.

These are my reference videos that other student animator have done which are now helping me.

This is my profile walk cycle and i like it.. I had used Richard williams method for blocking out my animation on certain frames, and used Eadweard Muybridge to help me execute the movements for my in-betweens.

Fifth walk cycle, and i am slowly beginning to understand this more now.. This is the best walk cycle i've produced so far now!
At the start, you can see his arms, but midway down the animation you don't see it.. I wanted it to appear that he placed his hands in his pocket in the second half of the animation.. I don't know if i pulled off that half at all, but in case if you thought where was his arms.. Now you know the reason why.

In this test, i wanted to try something new. So i posed the stick character to appear as suspicious.. Again, i know i'm not implementing this right.

I feel as though i have improved from the last two tests but its still not quite right.. I've confused the arms and the legs on some frames within this, which makes the walk look confusing.

This was my second walk cycle.. All i can say was, what on earth was i thinking?! This was far too fast, that you couldn't even see the walk cycle properly.. As you can see, my key frame skills on this test was very poor and so i need to work on blocking it out and dividing my key frame evenly... the same why how Richard williams suggests how animators should approach walk cycles.

First test walk cycle

This was my very first try at a walk cycle.. As you can see, i really need alot of practise.. This just looks awful, and you can clearly tell i wasn't fully getting the mechanics of the walk, but this was my first walk cycle.

These are the first videos i have researched to look at how animators perceive the motion of walkin.
